  4. In the spring of 1987, Mr. Tom Landers, then a fourth year student
  5. at Case Western Reserve University, developed this terminal emulator
  6. as a part of the requirements for his senior project.  His work
  7. started with a terminal program done by J. Bammi and P. Mateti, that
  8. later became a part of Gulam.
  9.  
  10. The terminal characteristics seem to be similar to those of a VT52.
  11.  
  12. Tom designed an APL font that has only "single strike" characters;
  13. composite characters are formed on the screen by merging images.
  14. You may be able to find a font editor that will work with this font.
  15.  
  16. The supervisor was Prof. F.T. Way, III of the Department of
  17. Computer Engineering and Science.
